  1. With your IT background, I like your perspective. I am sure some of that desire to inquire about a subject that intrigues you will "rub-off" onto your students. You have a unique opportunity to help students connect learning objectives through technology. As a math teacher, I will be interested to see your findings.

One step that I saw missing was the opportunity to explore ideas used by other campuses. An inquiry can be used as an opportunity to brainstorm and network. Whether you receive new inormation or not, you will have the opporunity to start networking with other administrators and/or teachers. An administrator at another school might not have any answers for you, but he might be interested in your findings. This could help his campus or might even put you in good standing with him should there be a job opening on his campus.

Thank you for the comments regarding my plan. As for the "persons responsible," I deleted that column just before I posted it. I was not sure about how comfortable my administrators would be with their name on the internet. Not sure if it would ever come up or not, so I just played it safe. The plan I turned in had names.

I think your topic is much more interesting. Have fun, and I will keep checking your blog to follow along.

  2. Quincy,

A couple of thoughts for you...

*How will you manage the lesson plan component for technology integration? Will teachers submit plans to you or will you work with your AP or Principal?

*During your initial meeting with teachers about perceived technology integration and resources in the classroom and availability, I would encourage you to utilize the force field analaysis discussed this week as a quality tool for evaluation purposes.

    Best of luck!
